While this is not exactly how it appeared at the end of the G. I. Joe: The Movie opening (the BEST cartoon intro EVER), this is inspired by that resonant final shot. My interpretation uses my favorite Joes and the base is a playset from the first X-Men movie. The only real customizing I did was ripping off the sign that said "Statue Of Liberty" and setting the Joe sign in front of her, gluing the figures on, gluing the flag in Duke's hand and using two of the bandoleers that came with Jet Pack Duke to make wave 4 Duke look like his jet pack has a harness. And since Scarlet and Flint didn't have holes in their backs I have their jet packs attached with those clear rubber bands they use to hold the toys in place in their packaging--which is also how I hung the Cobra Jet Pack Troopers. And since gluing stuff into place is the extent of my customizing, that amazingly awesome Sgt. Slaughter you see there is courtesy of our very own Gunslingercbr! Enjoy!
And I've been trying all week to upload the pictures directly onto the site but haven't been able to either due to me or my computer; either way here's the link to my photobucket page:
