Here are a few poorly photographed customs I've done. I was particularly sad that Destro didn't come out clear. He benefitted greatly from some gloss black and a vac-metal head.

My favorite customs are the ones where you hardly have to do anything, but they still come out accurate. All I did to kamakura was cut the quiver off of his sheath strap and replaced his legs from the knees down with Snake Eyes legs. I toyed with the idea of giving him a Snake Eyes shoulder strap but I talked myself out of it. The regular SS "gi" thing works fine.

Do you have a macro setting on your camera? The icon usually looks like a flower. That should help on your next batch of pictures.
I like the first Destro... I'm not sure why Hasbro didn't do a chromie headed Destro like the original.
