I'm working on some stuff for Vietnam figures. Can anyone direct me to figures(GI Joe 25th) with parts that would fit this era. I'm looking for helmets and just a regualr M-16 to start with. Or any other good webgear, backpacks, radios or anything else you can think of. I don't like the regular joe helmets, don't have the look and feel of Vietnam style.

You should check into the 21st Century figures. They even did a set of "Platoon" figures.

25th Stalker's webgear is kinda Vietnam-ish. 25th Airborne and several other figures come with a handgun that looks very close to a Colt 1911. 25th Rock n Roll has an M60 and that body style is similar to the old style single color utilities uniforms instead of camouflage. So is Breaker's, but both of them have the slit forearms.

I did some customs of SE Stalker, and SS in Vietnam a while back. SE was a repainted Sgt. Stone fig with a Wld Bill head, a Pit Coomando boonie hat and an M-60 from ARAH Sub Zero. SS was a repainted ROC carded Hawk's body with unmasked ROC SS head, plus a quiver from a comic pack SS. Stalker was a repainted Pit Commando body with a Ripcord head and a beret from Marauder's. All 3 got web belts from Marauder's, and SE and Stalker got ALICE packs from there as well. I gave Stalker Duke's M-16 from the Duke/Red Star comic pack, and SS got an M-4/CAR-15 that originally had a shotgun under the barrel. Marauder's has pretty good selection of weapons, some of them may be a bit more modern. They do have a good CAR-15 that'd work for a 'nam fig. Also check Broken Arrow's website.
