I am mroe of a lurker here since I don't really do any mods other than an occasional head swap. That said, I've got a couple questions.
Are all the 25th heads swappable? Also, are there and Star Wars or Indianna Jones heads that are swappable without any dremmeling or cutting or building?

For example, I put a Fred head on a CG Officer so I could have an unmasked officer. I wanted to still keep the regular CG body in the ranks though, and I stuck an extra Destro head on it (since it would have the helmet on anyway). Well, Destro's head was too small and sits down to low on the CG neck, so he looked weird. |

You just have to experiment with different figures. I found that the Golden Compass figures work great for head swaps. My favorite is the Mrs Coulter figure shown here on the Scarlett body with no alterations.
Its all trial and error, I have bought a figure just for the head and it blew chunks. |

Some heads work fine, some will require work.
The neck lengths and neck balls are not universally sized. The heads depth and/or width of the hole will vary to compensate. So you can end up with no neck, long necks, or just a head that flops around. You just need to experiment and make corrections where necessary. |

All depends of the heads. As someone said already some head joes don't fit ok in other joes bodies. Some SW figures have the hole to big and the POTC and Indiana have it too small. If you want to do that buy a dremel will make your job much easier. For big holes heads either you fill it with hot glue or replace the neck ball with the original one. I did this in 2 figure worked like a charm.

My concern is this. I don't have either the money or the skill to just wing it. That's why I figured I'd ask here first. Breaker is my one fig that I want to replace the head on. The other is Legions Cobra Commander. Anyone found specific heads that fit those posts well?

I used a Golden Compass head (Daniel Craig's) for my Breaker, and I had to replant the entire neck...

I was looking at the hatless whip weilding Indy last night. Compared to Breaker, he seems like it'd fit well. Is there any way to tell from holding the figures side by side in the packaging?
