the title of my thread pretty much says it all. but here it is again. does anybody know how to get a 5 inch figure's head an shrink it down to fit a 3 3/4" joe figure? i know i have heard that somewhere, but i cant seem to find it anywhere now. i would like to try it. has anybody heard of this technique.

i would like to know if anybody knows how to shrink figures. for example: if i like the head of a 5inch figure, how could i shrink that figure to fit a 3 3/4" joe figure. i have seen on the net something refering to that but i have never seen a how to on it.

You will need a shrink ray I would think.

Your looking for Hydro Shrink. I've never personally used it but I have friends who use it all the time to shrink heads down. I'm not sure where you can get from but maybe you could do search use the name above and see if something comes up.

You can contact JFAK. I am not sure if he is on here, but I know that he is on JC and G2G. John is a master at shrinking items.
The compound used is HydroShrink (HydroSpan for enlargments). There are several Tuts covering the process, but basically you make a mold, then cast it with Shrink (it will shrink while curing) then recast at proper size and recast your desired item. |
