get a clear acrylic....flat!...i have one by testors model masters, works quite nice...make sure you either stir or shake it well or it not be flat finished...
nice Sarge BTW...did you use Copperhead arms?...no need to paint them so it won't chip or anything...i plan to make a v2 myself...think i'm gonna use a big bulky Bazooka for the base... |

I always recommend Tamiya paints.
They have a flat sealer that lays on super thin and dries super fast. |

yea where im at theres not a big selection of real good brand paints but im gonna really hunt for them soon
and eddie ur rite if ya get a copper head that u can chop up you can use his upper half witch is the same as roadblock anyway but the arms and chest will be the right color already i would have liked that but i only have one copper head and out here there not easy to find ive only seen the one that i have so is it sealer im looking for? is that whut it says on the jar? or is it just clear acrylic paint ?

i'm not sure about the Tamiya brand sealer as i've looked for it but have never found it so i don't know what the jar says...but the Testors brand says "flat clear acrylic", but it does not say sealer on the jar...put on a fast coat and only go over it once as it will start to react with the dry paint you are painting over and want to smear it...
as for Sarges glasses...go to a TRU, and there is a five pack of cheap ($6) rescue figures, three of which have shades on, two of which look good on Sarge...then trim the shades off one of the heads and clean up the edges till you like it...then glue them to Sarges face and paint if needed...i swear, if you get it right they look like they were molded on his face... |

This is something I picked up a while ago. It's a clear spray that uses a protective coating so your paint won't chip.

I might have gotten the wrong picture but Michaels has all kinds of sprays that you can use to prevent paint chips. I remember I bought one before the 25th line was released, so I'm afraid I can't give you a picture of the one I had. Although It worked very well. If you go to michaels or another craft store you can probably find something similar. But I know they do make a product that works. It comes in a spray can like the picture I posted.
