Updated on 6/20:
I've been looking for more ways to make minor improvements on my figures and I decided to swap Grand Slam's head for Grunt's. I also modded the neck a little so his head sits lower and looks less like a giraffe. I think this makes him look a little tougher...or less like a weenie. Of course, now that I'm looking at the pic, the mismatch of the hair paint and the sculpted hairline is starting to bug me! ************************************************* Original post: Not much of a custom, but I used the comic pack Duke as Grunt: I like the arms better on this figure, and the gun is old school.

The face (or head) is still the main problem with the Hasbro figure. It doesn't look like Grunt and it has freaking stubble?! But your use of the new Duke body looks good.

Brilliant work. Sometimes it's just the little things that make a figure look better...

Yes, I agree. I'm hoping that one of the future head sculpts that come out will be better for Grunt.

I used nail polish remover to take the stubble off mine. It looks a lot better. Plus he still has a bit of a shadow but it looks more natural. |
