You may remember my
Dark Knight custom. Well I've revisited it and also used it as an excuse to work on my Nightwing custom. Without further ado, here are
Nightwing and my redone Dark Knight!
I wanted to build up my Nolan-style Bat characters, but it was hard to think of what character to do. I thought about Robin but couldn't make the idea of a boy-wonder fit into Nolan's Batverse, so I went with the more adult Nightwing instead.
Originally I just painted the symbol on his chest, but decided a sculpted symbol would look better.
And here's the Dark Knight:
I made him a little taller, sculpted a bat symbol on his chest, and transplanted the neck armor from a Mattel 4" Batman to bulk up the neck and also to hold the cape in place.
