Non G.I. Joe Kit Bashed ESB Han Solo

A couple of weeks ago I'd promised Hiss Tank Member MikeD that I would post a ton of photos of my custom Captain Solos I had been working on. Then I fell asleep leaving a half full glass of milk on my desk. Cats + Computer + Liquids = Headache.

Now that everything is working again, here's Han the way nature intended.

first off here's the figures i used to make each one.



And here's the results:

His arms are slightly longer than I would like- But then I realized, most Star Wars figures lately seem to be suffering from weird proportions, longer arms, tiny legs, etc etc... So I think he fits in pretty well. I mainly wanted him to not look like a custom in any way. So hopefully I achieved that. Maybe if you don't look too closely. And Squinting helps too.

Here's hasbro version of Echo Base Outfit Han, and my version. I'm more partial to mine.

I've also rit dyed a few of these brown coats and arms navy blue. Came out pretty good, but I need to repaint the fur collar. It ended up blue as well.

Just to give you an idea of the height difference between the main characters. With the torso changed out- he's skinnier and taller than he was. Looks more like Ford's lankier frame at the time. He's taller than Luke and towers over Leia now. Just like in the movie.
