They all look good.
Flash's vintage head was copied by Ace, so I put a 25th one on him. With the helmet & visor he looks different enough. Besides Ace's beady eyes make him look like he is focusing on what he is doing. Grand Slams vintage head looks pretty close to the new factory head so I left it that way. FYI, the New Grunt head is a Flash/Grand Slam head painted different. Crank Case has a Breaker head.

I'm weird about symmetry on my action figure shelves, especially with Troop Building (which I just started, thanks to Sigma 6). I have 2 grey mask Cobra soldiers, and 2 red mask Air Troopers (with the regular helmets), but I only had one black mask/red logo Officer from the 5-pack. So, I got an extra Air Trooper, and a black mask/silver logo trooper, swapped out the legs, painted the neck, and exchanged heads/webgear. Can you tell which is the original, and which is the custom? ^_^ ~_^ Now, I had a red mask head with a silver logo body. So, I put those together. I painted the "V" on the helmet red, and stuck him on my shelf. Then I realized that Scarface looked like the other "normal" helmet Air Troops, and I wanted something to differentiate him. So, I gave him the red "V" helmet, painted the "V" on his helmet silver, and gave it to "cobbled together" Trooper. Voila! Scarface: Air Trooper "Commander": |

I did all my cobra troopers from cobbled Wave 2/Air Troopers - impossible to tell apart except they now all ahve backpack holes. Then I sold all the air troopers (which now had silver sigils) off, and ended up with a bunch of red sigil troopers for $6 each. ;)
Nice job on the customs man, they look great! Which han solo is that?

Thanks!
It was the comic two pack with Chewbacca. I still regret spending that much for just the head, but I like my GS, so I guess it was kinda worth it? Gave "myself" a new body, more befitting of a Joe... The name is Photoshopped on, until I can get some labels...but I did at least remove the "Code Name: Cpl Breaker" that used to be on there!! ^_^" |
