Sy-Rein's Customs

Hey all, I've got a bunch of customs (most are still WIPs and rather simple even LBC simple), some of which I've posted before, some are new or changed.

Here are two that I just finished putting together (going to get a friend here to paint them for me since I'd like them to turn out nicely).

Lowlight and Night-Viper






(put some better pics up and now I need to fix LowLights goggles (they snapped on me when I was taking them off last))

Some more:

Nunchuk is mostly done, I want to paint the upper part of his lower legs to match his green but I'm hesitant since I dont know I'll be able to get a match. I'll see what I can do there. I may also replace his lower arms but then again I'll have the paint matching issue.

The red ninja is my version of Jinx. I like him for what he his (an LBC).

The green Ninja-Viper is now my Bushido. Might do a helmet for him but I kinda like him this way. I'm going to try to scratch up his Cobra logo since his story in my world involves him defecting from Cobra to join GI Joe.



Chuckles I've simply replaced his non-functioning holster with a proper one since I thought he deserved one.

Hit&Run is what should have been (needs some paint) but never was. I really liked the proto version that Hasbro first showed off so I replaced some parts with Airborne's and have got close to what I thought he should look like.



A small update to Mainframe. As mentioned below with Monkeywrench, I swapped their lower arms. Also gave him a ROC laptop and mod'd his computer console so he can wear it as a backpack. The peg is just short enough so the legs of the console still function.

Here's my slightly modified Monkeywrench. Got some shades from BrokenArrow, swapped his arms with Mainframes' and added a couple painted TR bandanas to his legs.





And Slice and Dice:

I may still paint the rest of Dice's mask purple but I'm as yet undecided on how much purple I want on him. I went with mostly black because, for one, it was a heck of alot easier than painting the whole figure. And for two, I'm going with an earlier theme to these two, where they've just completed their training and have yet to finalize their gear/clothing. I still want to do a mask for Slice but havent found anything that'd work well yet.

Alexander and his Iron Guardsmen. My original thought with the two Iron Guards were that they were the personal guards of Destro and Alexander. After doing the painting, they seemed to suit Alexander better and are now IGs Elite Guardsmen and Alexander is their commander.

Nice wips man.

I used a couple of Tunnelrat's bandanas. Painted red and trimmed a little to wrap around the legs.

Thanks, the Night Viper was inspired by TuanTran's Night-Viper. He'll be getting some paintwork done by a friend from the boards here, so he'll have a colour scheme similar to his ARAH v1 version. Lowlight will also get an ARAH inspired paint scheme.
