I have had this tank ever since I was a kid and it was pretty beat up. So, I cleaned it up and gave it a new paint scheme. I have always liked this version of the HISS over the others and the best thing is that it fits modern figures perfectly with no wedging them in and stuff like that.
Since I re-did the tank, I had to do a driver so I used Track Viper's colors and really like how he came out.

Nice! If Hasbro made it like that, I'd buy it.

Holy crap! You have reminded me that I have one of these sitting in my basement awaiting new paint! My son keeps trying to talk me into giving it to him, so maybe I'll get it painted up and give it to him for his birthday next month.
Yours looks really, really good. I am less than enthusiastic about the original color scheme. I may borrow some of your ideas on this! |

Great job! I'm doing something similar with a Hiss II that my cousins didn't want anymore. It's too bad that I couldn't keep the window clear like yours. They had a paint-the-joes custom phase and there was paint on the window; too much to take off.

Yeah, the window on mine is bowed but cleaned up real nice and isn't cracked so I'm happy about that. Considering how much I played with this back in the day I'm surprised it is even in one piece!
