My first custom ever.
I don't have a need for two scarletts so I added a new member to my cobra team. For some reason the acrylics seemed to have worked better than the Cream (enamel) I used for the skin. Tomorrow she gets a Fauxhawk. Next week DUSTY, hopefully. I attached the reference pic. BTW. My wife thinks I'm customizing so not to spend money on new figures. How clueless is this woman. J/K. ENJOY. Last edited by theprocess; 04-10-2013 at 03:02 PM.. |

That looks great. It's a great way to use the extra Scarlett. I hope my first custom looks half that good.

I'd love to see an attempt at a collar, sculpted or fitted/glued. I'm new to sculpting myself and have just used it to cover up things and small add-ons. It looks good. Everyone's got an extra Scarlet lying around.

Awesome custom! Even better than the one Hasbro did
As for paints, Acrylics always work better than enamels |

I like that custom a lot! I might have painted her with a brighter pink and blue, though (I am a sucker for the original's deco).

I'd like to try to the collar Idea except the guys at my local hobby shop gave me a weird look when I asked for the GREEN STUFF.
I did change her hairstyle using Air-Dry Clay, once i get the chance to paint It I'll post the updated version. Thanks for the comments |
