So I've been playing around with some ideas on how to make digital camouflage. This is my first test. I've got some ideas of other things I wanna try. But I figured I'd run it all by you first. So tell me what you think. Be honest, be brutal. It's fine I can take it.

The picture is sort of grainy and slightly out of focus, which makes it hard to tell but from what I can see it looks pretty good.

Sadly it's my scanner. I don't have a good digital camera so I'm stuck with the scanner bed. I'll play around to see if I can get a better picture.

I cut one of those cello scrub sponges. Then just sponge painted on the colors.
edit: Also make shore it's a dry sponge. It's like making fake marble. Last edited by green_shirt; 11-10-2009 at 10:19 AM.. |

I think it's a bit to patchy with the colors. But I'm thinking a few more passes with less paint would break up the patches.

I really like it - although the color pattern fits more with the ROC Joes. Maybe a darker gray pattern would work better with Cobra. But that is not to take away anything from the paint job, which looks awesome.
