Now this is an interesting little toy, and the only reason I'm bringing it up is because of the possible customizing possibilities (which is why I put it here and not in the other sections). It's the K-mart aircraft carrier. No, it's not a knock off of the legendary flagg. It's a considerably smaller toy with some interesting little features.
As you can see, it's simple and small, everything that $25 worth of plastic will get you: The airplanes (not pictured) are tiny, baby-blue jets with folding wings. They fit on each end of the deck in front of and behind the island. They look a little cartoony, but I might consider using them for my planned Cobra Ship Project. There's a below decks portion of the ship that is unimpressive. That's pretty much all there is to it. Next post has the other pictures of below decks. It's $25 bucks and holds some interesting possibilities of expanding your surface fleet with some small modifications.

This is a view from the opening door on the side of the ship.:
And this is a view looking down with the deck removed:

Looks interesting as maybe a heli-carrier escourt.
What section was it in? (Like with the hot wheels etc)

Does it feel pretty solid...like it would hold up with some actual play or like it will just fall apart the second you try to actually use it?

It was in the Generic Toy section. It's the same place as the stealth jet triple pack (F-117, Coast Guard-type Boat, and Shriner's hummer) and the Orange Construction Crane.
