I wanted to do something with this head I had from a True Heroes figure... had to drill out a socket so that it could fit on a RoC figure neck but it wasn't too bad. I chose Shipwreck's body, as I figured my Flint would wear the reactive armor as well, and be a more "all-around" joe, sent on various missions. Gave him a misc backpack from .... ?? (forget where) and a rifle from a Corps pack I believe. Added a little paint to his hair to make him a brunette instead of a blonde. I kept the beret red because I think it works better with the overall figure, adds a little more interesting color.
To me, this is the Macgyver-type Flint that the Joes could send on all sorts of missions. Just like they overused him in the original cartoons (c'mon, was "Flint's Vacation" really necessary?) Good thing Shipwreck came with all that extra gear like the swim mask and stuff that fits him. Fits my Flint as well, but I have to remove his head to make the mask fit. (no pics sorry) |

That looks great! I agree with the red beret, these RoC figures need a little color.
