OK, so some people were very against doing this in crimson, and a lot of people voted blue . . . I was *this close* to using black and gold and doing an IG tank, but then I just folded and made it crimson.
Pics here: dwarvenforge.com / More possible SF armor from GI Joe I haven't completely finished it yet... I still want to add stickers, I may add a few more touches in black (like the vents), and there are places where the old decals show through (most notably on the rear hatch) and I have to either paint them to be more clear, or get rid of them entirely. Still, overall I'm happy. Oh, and note the chrome on the engine cover of my repainted Striker... that is the same approach I'm going to use when I repaint the ROC Night Raven to make a modern-era Sky Raven.... i really hope you didn't use enammel spray can on them soft rubber parts cause if you did that stuff is never gonna dry and slowly become gummy. i painted that exact same tank blue and thats what happend to mine. it's been almost two years and those parts are as sticky as day one to the point that i can see my finger prints imprint on them when i touch em. i would suggest stripping the paint on those parts and painting them with water based acrylic, been to lazy to take mine apart and fixing mine:P
