Custom Harpies- Cobra Viper Commanders By In Like Flint

UPDATE: Added a few more pics with the helmets on- on page 2.



I really liked Helix, but have no place for her within my Joe Roster the way it is now. After playing around for a few hours with different parts I stumbled on to something I really liked alot.

Popped the Fang/CLaw Viper pilot's head onto Helixes body, stuck Baroness' backpack, Para Viper's goggles and Stalker's nazi machine gun on them. Then I completely sanded off the joe insignia on the shoulder and stuck on a cobra decal followed with some dull cote.

Then I made unmasked versions using Covergirl's head with Helix's Hair, Movie Scarlett's head, and a Star Wars Juno Eclipse head. I need to go over the heads with some dulcote to cut back some of that shine on the hair and faces, but used up the last of it on the cobra insignia decal on their shoulders.

In the end there's going to be 3 of them total- but I only have 2 helix bodies right now. I picture them being slightly like the middle ground between Baroness and Female Dreadnoks. Crass, rude, and slightly stuck up- Think they're better than Zarana, Zanya, and Heartwrencher, (and brawl with them alot) but are still looked down upon by Baroness, Dr. Knox, Armada. and Dr. Biggles-Jones.

Not sure what I'm calling each of them yet. I just ran with the idea of having an all female version of Viper Commanders similar to what hasbro did with Tomax and Xamot as the Siegie Commanders.

Technically this one doesn't have a body yet- She's just borrowing it for right now.

Oh and the Dark Blue RAM was a custom I was going to scrap- Since it didn't match anything else I had done. But now I kind of like it. At some point I'll go apes$#@% and do a whole fleet of vehicles in that color too just for my Vipers. They kind of got left out since I heavily favored my Cobra Soldiers and Crimson Guards.

That's very interesting....

i like the ones with the helmets on, they're like elite female vipers, although kinda hated the faces (no offense In Like Flint) the heads look like they've been coked several times in a day.. (well i guess, since Cobra has the thugs and degenerates in almost every country as their cannon fodder)

Hahah! No offense taken. I was going for over the top bad goth/shakespeare's sister wannabes. I figured since the Dreadnoks were bad new wave/punk 80's stereotypes it might work. I like the Helmets on much better too I think. They blend in with their troops a litttle better.
