I love the work I've seen come from these pages. Many of you have inspired me to step up new, exciting ways to display my toys and my latest inspiration has to do with the Flagg.
Being more of a Cobra fan, I usually convert all the cool vehicles to Cobra, by repainting them. I took an old, weathered, battered Flagg and repainted it some dark, Cobra colors. On to my question: I've never liked the way the actual base of the ship was made. I know cost defined much of how this ship was built, so now I'm working on reconstructing it, to actually give it more of a real hull of sorts. I'm thinking of using foam coolers, so I can easily cut and paint them. Does anyone have any advice or perhaps any pictures of something they've done? I know I can't be the only one with this mod in mind LOL. Thanks in advance! |
