Looks like the P3 paints are working well for you.

Indeed they are! I found another shop close to me that sells Tamiya, so I may grab a few of those too, to see if there are any big differences.
Next on my list is to finish up this Tank and then also desert-ify the HISS Commander that came with it!

There are a couple large differences. While both are acrylic and water-soluble, Tamiya is actually an alcohol-based acrylic, so it's best thinned with rubbing alcohol. Being alcohol-based, it also dries much quicker than other acrylics. Its consistency is much thinner than P3 straight out of the bottle as well.

ROC "Battle Armor" Zartan
I decided to do my own ROC Zartan.. I took the flak jacket from a standard Neo-Viper - painted it blue then did a silver dry brush on it. Same with the gloves, shin-guards and holster. The body is also from a Neo-Viper. I went with the entire look from the Neo because I wanted to be consistent with what the ROC army wears. I figure Zartan would wear something similar to them, but obviously with a different colour-scheme to show that he's of a higher rank. Also gave him darker hair because I figure that'd be something Zartan would always be changing. Also gave him a thicker and more pronounced warpaint. Not exactly like his ARAH warpaint, but something different at least. I still may add some finer details to this at a later date. Also did a silver dry brush on his backpack (which I didn't take a pic of) and I also painted the bayonet on his rifle silver.

Just an update on my WIP's (no pics til later).
- Finished up my desert HISS driver, just need to do the chest decal. - Still working on several different versions of Firefly.. I'm torn as to which to go with or finish first. - Made some AWESOME progress this week on my "Battle Armor" Serpentor - this one is my priority right now and I can't wait to finish it! EDIT: Oh, and I also did a small tweak on an extra ROC CC that I picked up a while back. Did his mask in metallic/clear red with black eyes and other accents. Definitely a cool look, IMO. Pics later!!

Alright, so I finally finished a couple of these.
First up the Desert HISS Driver. It's not my best, but it's something, I guess, lol. This is just a standard HISS Driver (blue) upper body combined with a Cobra Viper's legs and boots.

Next up, my best so far, IMO... Battle Armor Serpentor
I'd like to think that this is what Serpentor would look like Resolute-style. This is the carded figure, FYI, but I took the back piece from the DVD Serpentor figure and added it in there because I think it adds a lot to the figure. I used Tamiya Gun Metal for the armor and then blacks and reds from P3 for the rest. I also used a clear gloss from Tamiya on most of this too. The only customized piece of hardware on him is the holster I super-glued to his skirt or whatever that thing is, lol. That was taken from a Marvel Universe figure of Maverick/Agent Zero. This is also the first custom I've used my newly acquired dremel on. Finally no more paint wear!!

Finally, the next pic is of a Trio that I'd like to customize. Right now it's just a lot of kit bashing but no paints, etc. I'll get to that eventually once I get the characters and their looks down pat.
The basic gist behind it is it's the beginning of an alternate universe team of characters we're all familiar with. I'm not sure if they're going to be heroes or villains in this other dimension, but I do know that I want these three characters as the core team. Firefly (ROC Firefly backpack, a Beachead vest, Resolute Destro leg harness, and two silenced pistols from ROC Shockblast). Flash (all orignial except I took the backpack from Resolute Destro and connected the hoses to his laser rifle and the hole in the back of his neck/shoulder piece). Shockblast (SB head on a ROC Viper Commando body with the shoulder pads cut off, Cobra Viper vest, and the utility belt and shotgun from ROC Shockblast, goggles from ROC Firefly). EDIT: I might also end up switching Firefly's head to one from the Marvel Universe Hydra Soldier that I picked up a while back (below, far right) as I find it looks a lot more like he did in Resolute and I like that style more for this idea.
