I have scratch built a WW1 style armored car. The overall length is 27 cm, the overall height 16,5 cm and the cabin is 8 cm wide. The engine, the wheels, the fenders and the driver seat are of a Burago model. The floor in the back part is made of wooden ice cream sticks. The armor plates are of acrylic plastic cut out of CD cases. The turret is a piece of PVC normally used to close the end of a water pipe. It’s diameter is 8 cm. The whole process of building the vehicle as well as detailed pictures can be seen on my blog: Dioramas 1:18

You are very talented. Those are great looking customs; the fort is my favorite though.

That is some great work! What's the build time on something like that?

Clockwise, counting the built time is rather difficult, because I do not start a project and finish it without interruption. The chassis with the engine I had made some years ago and stocked because I did not know what to do with it. When I started that project now, I did not have a veryspecific plan other than making an armored WW1 style car. Thus, I started with the engine hut and progressed for several days until finishing. The biggest part of the built time in fact was waiting time for the drying of paint.

I understand how time can be on/off on projects like these. Very impressive.
