Right.
I bought the "Elite Operations" (which are just re-packaged PTE) F-18, Blackhawk, and "Mutt" jeep at Toys 'R Us. 25A Ace fits in the F-18, so I'm planning on painting that and turning it into the new "Skystriker" with some repro decals. I haven't checked to see if the 25A figures fit in the Blackhawk yet (I presume they will), and I'm planning on putting some Tomahawk decals on that. The "Mutt" jeep will become Hawk's personal ride. I visited the only two Big Lots in my state, and picked up the Abrams tank (which will get Mauler decals). I passed on the Watch Tower and howitzer. I'm also not really interested in the dune buggy, since the retooled AWE Striker is just around the corner. So now, I'm looking to pick up a couple of the humvees. I wasn't back into Joes in 2005-2006 (which is when it appears these were coming out), but it sounds like PTE continued producing the humvees earlier this summer. I've also read that many board members were able to get these very cheaply. So if anybody has an extra they'd like to sell (and 25A figures can be wedged into them), please let me know, as I'd like to Joe-ize it. |

Unfortunately, a lot of the PTE stuff has dried up around here as well - there was a good bit at BigLots a few months ago, but they've slowly dwindled down. Searches on the internet have come up with some pretty pricey finds. TRU still has a couple, retitled Elite Operations. I've been on the prowl for the PTE boat for a long time. I remember two years ago seeing an entire endcap at Rite Aid or Eckerds of the PTE stuff (mostly humvees), and I still wish I had splurged on them all. I have a good selection of other various humvees (Elite Force and 21st century - smalljoes has a few on clearance - really worth it, I think), jeeps, tanks and helicopters from all of these brands, but still no boat. Wah. I really like the new 25th line, but having been in the army, I like to play with stuff that is more modern-realistic. I would give my right lung for a 1/18 scale HEMTT wrecker.

yes, the 25A figures fit the elite force humvees fine. and all the other bbi elite force/unimax forces of valor/21st century toys/power team elite 1:18 scale stuff fits the joes fine - new and old.

That's what happened to me too! I was so pissed. I did manage to find the watch tower, so all is not lost. BTW, they have the dune buggy at TRU. Shockwave |

Sorry, I am just now getting this message as I have not been active on the boards for a few days. Please either PM or e-mail me regarding the boat. Thanks - Eric
