That is a great lineup!
I don't know how, but I 100% missed Tigersharks in the 80s. Never heard of them until a few years ago. |

They were easy to overlook since they were part of a cartoon montage called Comic Strip as opposed to Thundercats and Silverhawks that had stand alone shows.

Tiger Sharks are another group I never heard of, they came out great though! You’re making my list of 80’s cartoons to research longer and longer. Haha.
Love the swords pic! Think my favorite there is She-Ra and didn’t notice you used the marauder knee pads on Leonardo before. Great idea and great sculpting for the head. The turtles have so much personality in the cartoon & original toy line and you did a great job capturing that in your sculpt.

Cant take credit for the head sculpt. I bought it off Angelforge. I sculpted the tigersharks...just trying to make myself feel better 🤣🤣🤣

Some Crossover Shots
This was the fun idea behind the project to see these different 80s properties in the same scale like this. Megatron vs Centurions Mumm-Ra vs Bravestarr and Thirty Thirty Tex Hex vs Lion O Mon*Star vs Defenders of the Earth

WHOA Flint! This stuff must of took you forever to custom!!!!
Awesome work dude, truly awesome! Digging all of ‘em, they look like they’ve come straight out of the factory than actual customs! Bionic Six, Bravestar, Defenders of the Earth, Thundercats, so many! Its great to see some of your other lines mix with them too, I’m also building up a Secret Wars and Super Powers line in this scale, first of course had a lot of the 5 inch scale, then went onto the 6 inch for a long time, done many customs too back then of the 6 inchers and 5 way before it was popular to custom figures, now I’m back to 3:3/4 4 inch scale figures which were my first action figure love. I find modern 4 inch figures are the same quality as 6 or 7 inch these days, big reason I moved back and left the other scales, that and its cooler to own many vehicles of course! Building my Action Force again an GI Joe, wanna do a MASK line like u have custom wise, awesome, real shame a lot of the stuff back then was different scales, could never understand MASK were made so much smaller than GI Joe, had a few but put me off buying the lot. Same goes with Visionaries and Defenders of the Earth etc etc, would of been so much coller and better to have them all the one scale, like you have done now! Anyways awesome work, brings it all back, thank you! ;) Look forward to seeing what u come up with in the future. Lee. Last edited by LEEE777; 06-27-2020 at 08:45 AM.. |

I plan on making at least Cryotek and Darkstorm to add to the Visionaries along with some more villains from various lines.

Thanks man! I like setting up and seeing all the different groups together.
I've taken your suggestion and decided to make another Batman this time with the light gray and blue color scheme.
