I spent several years in the service working on vehicle design, particularly the issues with convoy protection and IED defeat. Most of you probably know, that in Vietnam, soldiers took cargo trucks and welded armor on them and added all sorts of weapons, to include miniguns, .50s, 40mm etc. This is my modern homage to the Vietnam gun trucks for modern times. The truck is the animal planet cargo truck, with the armor scratch built and added. I put a "lift kit" in it and jacked it up a little. Also, the interior of the cab was non-existent, so everything except the seat backs is added. I also made the doors operational.
The figure is my take on Heavy Duty. It is a "the corps" figure, and his size, coupled with the revolver he came with (reminds me of the Taurus Raging Bull) made me think "heavy duty", cover and googles are MGR. Just paint, nothing more. That is an outstanding work on this Chap Mei truck. I like in particular that modification of the doors which do not open in the original truck. Perhaps you could show some pictures explaining how you made the hinges?

This looks awesome! I am also curious how you got the door hinges to work.
