Vehicles Arctic Mauler

"The Mauler light tank is the Joe team's default tank, and is currently the closest it has to an actual MBT. It has seen various slight upgrades and modifications over the years.

This Mauler has been refitted and repainted for winter warfare, with some of its original dark tan left intact to complement the arctic white. Its tracks give it dependable mobility in difficult terrain, including ice and snow.

Heavy artilleryman Long-Range has made the transition to tanks, and drives the Mauler across sprawling tundra, deep snow, and icey valleys."

My winter/ arctic vehicles project continues with an entry that maybe wasn't so predictable.

I've wanted to try a white/dark tan camo scheme for a while and the Mauler seemed like a natural vehicle to do this with. I'm really happy how the coloring came out. This has been a fun exercise, and I may build more winter variants of classic Joe and Cobra non arctic vehicles in the future.

Looks great man! every time I see one of your builds, I'm super tempted to get back into bricks!

might be an odd thing to single out, but I really dig the way those treads are built.

I wish you were chief LEGO designer and brand manager, and had an exclusive HASBRO contract, Stormgard, and that all children bought them like I would.

Thanks! It's never too late to get back into building Lego!

Those are 3rd party custom treads from Brickmania.com. These along with minifig smallarms from BrickArms are the only parts I use that aren't actualy Lego bricks. Lego does have treads I could use but they aren't quite the right size.
