You teased us with this set way back last October, and since I thought you abandoned the project--quite the opposite!! I should have realized you going to give us the full package of figures and vehicles. Well worth the wait. The figures are sharp, particularly the OG5 which I'd like to do myself someday (got all the head casts).
I think we can all agree that all your OG vehicles are on another level, given that there's never been official releases of these. Since I don't do custom vehicles myself, I'd definitely get in line to buy these. Awesome project execution. It's amazing that you've created what is essentially a stand-alone sub line and/or convention package. Don't be afraid to play around with this set in future weeks, and feeding us more pictures of different combos of figures and figures inspired by specific Marvel comic issues! Once I get my MTF WW2 Kickstarter figures in (no shipping notice yet), I will update a few of these figures and post the pics online. Jason |

Thanks for the awesome feedback. I have been so busy with Graduate School, that customizing and posting pictures just seems next to impossible. However, this was one project I was bound and determined to uploaded to the internet.

Between the grad school, the actual customizing of gigs and vehicles, the photos, the file cards, blueprints, and presentation boards, I'm surprised this all came out before you finished school. It's epic and you should be extremely proud--and I hope someone can elevate this to front page.

As promised, here is my Updated RED STAR using the new MTF WW2 Russian figure.
I left the File Card information the same. However, I think in the "real-world" military the Naval Infantry Officer's cap is blue like the Hasbro action figure. Since my "Joeverse" is set in the timeless future, I am not going to make a big deal over the color of the officer's cap. The Hasbro Red Star head and blue officer cap are too small to use with the MTF body. This is a simple MTF figure and parts build. I used the WW2 Russian Officer body but changed out the head for a "Hans" German head. I think it looks a little more menacing. For the web gear, I wanted the back pockets to match the color of the holster. So, I used the F-1 pouch from the Russian Machine Gunner. The obligatory Marvel G.I. Joe Yearbook 2 Oktober Guard group photo homage. I could not find the darker blue beret I used for Shturmovik. The lighter blue beret looks a little to much "Street Fighter" for my taste. Jason |

Next up is my Updated Schrage figure!
This is the WW2 Russian Tanker figure. I acquired the Garrison Cap in a trade for an extra Ushanka cap I received with my Kick Starter order. The Garrison Cap does not fit well on any of the new heads. I used a blonde "Hans" German head and trimmed some of the hair off so that the Garrison Cap would sit lower without flaring out as much on the sides. The cap is glued in place. For the web gear, I added an extra, angled strap; cut from the Machin Gunner web gear and glued in place. The holster is from a US Army figure. I went with a brown holster to match Red Star's color scheme. The extra grenade pouch on the back is also from the Russian Machine Gunner. Group photo of all of my MTF Oktober Guard figures (minus Daina from Marvel Issues 6 & 7) I like a sense of uniformity with their outfits. So, you will notice any figure using "Trooper" legs has an open ammo pouch on one of their boots, which I use to hold a SmartPhone. Dragonsky also has a boot gun holster, while the other five figures with Trooper legs have a knife sheath. Jason |

After seeing the German Panzer figure, in hand, I decided the upper body would make a nice MTF Horror Show figure update.
I wanted my MTF Horror Show to use the MTF Trooper legs like most of my other MTF Oktober Guard figures. Plus, I just do not like the way those Panzer legs look. The Trooper Legs popped onto the Panzer waist with no problems. The head is a 50th Gung-Ho with the Tanker cap just spot glued in place. I am not 100% sold on using the Gung-Ho head. I may end up Dremelling the sides and top of the Horror Show resin cast head that I have and gluing the MTF Tanker cap in place. The web gear is a custom made from the German web gear with a Russian belt buckler glued in place. I used the straight, German ammo pouches on the front. I also added some bullets to one arm strap just to try to help change up the look. The back of the web gear has two large pockets and a Contractor Ops's canteen. So, what are your thoughts on the Gung-Ho head sculpt? Keep the custom as is, or Dremel down the Horror Show resing cast (you can see it earlier in this thread)? Thanks. Jason |

Awesome! Thanks.

The MTF updates to the Guard look fantastic! I personally think the Gung Ho head looks good as is, but the cast may look a bit more accurate.
