I had to take them down to post the pics in my other thread. I ran out of memory space on Hisstank.

I just checked them out on your profile album - all very nice. My favorites are Cover Girl and Repeater.

I started working on making custom Joe's at the beginning of the summer. I don't know if it was to do with the end of the 25th anniversary line, or if it was all of the awesome customs I was seeing posted on Hiss Tank and Terror Drome. Either way, once I started I couldn't stop. In the beginning I was only looking to the Joe line for parts, but now with some influence of other customs I've seen on the web I can't help but looking into other toy lines for parts. Also, big props to online store's like Broken Arrow Toys and Tri-Gate creations. They're both cleaning my wallet out every month because they're the best for finding parts for fixing you're Joes to look accurate. Anyways, here are some shots of some pieces I've finished this summer.
P.S. Sorry Sgt. Slaughter doesn't have his baton yet, I'm looking to pick one up without having to spend $12.00 plus shipping. Also, I used ROC Scarlett's head for my Cover Girl figure because I don't mix my ROC and Classic figures together. Sorry to bust bubbles, but I did say ALMOST, because, as a graphics designer myself, I understand all too well that when we focus on really detailed work, we sometimes miss the blatantly obvious mistakes. Long story short, I think Spirit's arrow magazine is loaded onto the rifle wrong, with the arrows pointing vertically, instead of horizontally. Or is that how it should really go? |
