I like the Zartan, Eel and Viper.
Copperhead is wild. These make me think of the 1980's animated "Heavy Metal" film. |

More accurately... some people's minds MATURE. Anyone remember the "awesome" drawings you made when you were 6 years old? Would you think that was cool in a comic book today? No? Oh your mind is "so limited." lol Hell, I could poop on my GI Joes and that woud be unique and open minded. Want to buy one? Yeah, didnt think so. Quote:
Boy, Im sure glad he told us that. Boy do I feel so silly now for thinking those figures aren't up to my standards. ;)

STAFF EDIT:
NOT COOL. YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIKE THEM, YOU CAN SAY YOU DON'T LIKE THEM BUT PLEASE FOLLOW FORUM RULES: 1. No trolling, or flaming. Any form of personal insult is a no-no. As a basic rule of thumb: if you think that what you are about to post is insulting, don't post it. No posting with the intent of starting "Drama". The theory is very fresh. Just get them some better quality paint and when they improve their skill it could be some really fresh ideas for the Joe universe.
I mean the original run of Joes used wacky colors and unrealistic costumes and equipment. This stuff is just a progression of that. So he is not as good as all of you at your trade, that is fine. But you guys are suppose to be ambassadors for the hobby. You are apparently as limited in open-mindedness and manners as you think they are at customs. I just have to say how surprised I am to see such a vocal response from so many different people about these figures but this many people do not post when there is an A+ figure by majority vote. Think about how many people would ridicule any of you for "still playing with toys" and now you are doing it to one of your own. Last edited by crossbonesx11; 07-28-2009 at 01:18 PM.. |

wait... a nine hundred year old thread and that's your response?
because I chose to buy something 'not serious'... because I chose to buy something 'low budget' but (to varying degrees) 'unique.' it'd be a waste of money if I bought these because I thought they were 'OMFCOWGD gorgeous.' If I was walkin around goin 'man the paint on these is divine.' but how is it a waste if I'm just enjoying them for what they are... silly, odd, tongue'n'cheek..... besides the pain on these are on par with the CGI in ROC. hehehehehhe.
