gate guards. not happy with this dio. slapped it together real fast just to see. i'll re-vist it one day. like my muddy snowy ground? lol

I don't think the dio turned out bad at all for what it is, I especially like the wooden door and more organic lines on the wall itself- really indicative of the stonework of the medieval period. A darker wash followed by dry brushing a lighter shade over the brickwork would really make the details pop.

yeah she got me started on the dining room thing being medieval. the suit of armor is up, not sure if you saw it. I got the throne in the entry way done to. my goal is to have 12 knights, like the number of the round table knights, and the supporting cast. as soon as the bfs horse's get here I will have jousters also. its hard trying to find figures to make into knights so that they don't all look the same.
got a few more supporting cast to make, 2 monks. then some more knights. I agree this is definitely not the front gate soldiers. this is more of a place holder custom since the door is to small and I don't like the platform they are on. but its something for now. I may put this in front of my skeleton in chains custom is space permits. |
