I have posted this kitbash before. At that time, I used the G.I.Joe 25th Anniversary Ripper head, but truth be told, I do not really like it. It looks a bit scrunched-in. Sorta like Diamond Dallas Page with black hair. I decided to go with a custom head, but, truth be told again, I do not really like it much either. It is a bit less flat-faced, but the detail is simplified. I suppose it is the lesser of two evils (and it was a freebie). The only other additions I made was to give him a Steam-Roller heart tattoo on his forearm and to give his gloves some cuffs (I guess they could either be glove-cuffs OR small leather bracers). I had lunch from Zaxby’s one day and I noticed they had black drinking straws. I thought maybe I could use them to approximate high gloves. As for Ripper, I just wanted to gain experience with working with the straws, so I kept it simple
P.S.: My light box finally died. I used a very temporary set-up to picture Ripper. RIPPER (V1): 1985

Just a few that I am currently working on
And a couple from DIC Unfortunately, Deckard requires me to wait for a custom painted head Gnawgahyde is a bit of a troll on my part. He will not be finished until MJ puts a Caucasian Bare Torso up on the website. Finally got around to working on a Copperhead. I got a resin helmet from AVAC’s, but it is for a small noggin. I am using an MTF Brynner head as it is the smallest MTF head I can think of, but it is still stretching the Copperhead helmet to the breaking point. Of course this kitbash will also need to wait until MTF Bare Torsos are a thing. I DO have an alternate plan, though. I truly and honestly like the idea of Copperhead being a low-key Dreadnok. I am thinking of making a Battlecorps version of Copperhead in the vein of the classic Dreadnoks: leather pads, jeans, rips, the whole nine yards. I even have the Dime Novel Legends Sandrigham hat picked out for him. The V1 Copperhead helmet will, for now, just be an alternate look for when he is actually piloting the Moccasin. Speaking of small noggins, I also got a 3D printed Sci-Fi head from Star Wars Geek, but that file is clearly for 6”. The 1:18 downsize is too small. I originally wanted to use the head for an Eco-Warriors Deep Six or Eco-Warriors Barbecue or a 1993 Snowstorm (or for all three if it was successful), but, alas, the head was comically small for a helmet. But it came in black and has a faceplate, so that is where I got the idea to use it for B.A.T. V2.

Interesting future roster you have their bud! I have that BBQ still from childhood & you just reminded me I gotta make him LOL! So it's on like Donkey Kong! XD I want to make a Slaughters Marauders Low-Light sometime too, as he's the best Joe in the Operation Dragon Fire series... What happened to some of your earlier teases, like Damselfly & the other Operation Recall homage?

The only Recall figure that I needed up doing was Retelo. My enthusiasm for Recall fell off a cliff when I saw the changes they made to the public submissions.
I did do Delta-17 figs, but just Kestrel and Preacher. They are around here somewhere. I am having a hard time copying any more Joes with the current MTF catalog. I think my next few figs/waves will be “unreleased” Battlecorps figures. I feel it is easy (and fun) to try to make former vehicle drivers into Battlecorps carded figures (a la my BC Thunder and Ninja Force Tollbooth). I am thinking of doing an Armadillo update and maybe a Major Storm update. We shall see. Funds are tight this year.
