I can't wait to see how Budo turns out from the Club. However, given how expensive stuff has been lately, I may end up just keeping my Budo custom unless the club one really blows me a way. For Quick Kick, I just never liked how he had bare feet, even back in 1985. Also, Hasbro really should have given him straps for his backpack so it doesn't look like he just glued the backpack to his bare back.
Both together Budo - Modified Thor Hogun head, and used a bunch of vintage gear. Modified the Retaliation Budo and gave him Arctic Snake Eyes legs and BnB Slaughter elbow pads on his knee. Quick Kick - gave him Falcon's (I think) straps and put the 25th Quick Kick gear on the TRU exclusive version. Relocated backpack peg as well.

I like em both. I have wanted to do that with Quick Kick as well, but can't seem to acquire a set of his 25th gear. I always thought his sash held his backpack?

That's what I pretended as a kid...haha. In the Sunbow cartoons though, you can see has straps.

Everytime I see a Quick Kick I remember I have to get a replacement lower leg for my vintage one. Nice work, al least the guy learnt how to use shoes.

What I pretend: only through deep concentration and after years of deep martial artist training does Quick Kick feel no pain, even when a solid peg is driven through his spine...

I was kinda bummed that I couldn't get the FSS Budo. After seeing the final results, glad I didn't spend the money to get it. This can now continue being my official Budo in my collection.
