Yeah, Im debating whether or not to try to find a closer orange color, but I gotta say Im diggin the dark red, even if it looks a bit Cobra-ish in terms of color scheme. |

Don't get me wrong, I like the artwork's color, too.

Well, for some reason, I always remembered him as red. When I started looking at pictures of the original figure, I started noticing he was more orange.
But yeah, I was always wondering where I got the color red from. He looked perfect to me untill I saw the old figs, then I cried a little. |

Thanks, and thanks!!! I tell ya, like mentioned earlier, this stuff is addictive. Im happy this guy is turning out ok, or else I probably wouldnt keep at it. I still plan on eventually doing something to the head to make it more accurate, but I would be entering another new area with sculpting and molding and what not. Completely new terretory for me. If you are able to get me a pic or even a MS Paint example of what that symbol looks like, Ill try my best to add it on there. Thanks! |

what makes me mad about the axe, is I have a Slaughters Marauders Barbecue that I think got lost a long time ago, but I remember seeing his axe real recently, sometime when I started going through all my old storage and organizing all of my old joes and weapons for them, thats whats so damn irritating. I coulda sworn I just saw it like a week ago.
I may have to go with the Marauders axe if i cant find it, better then him not with one, i mean hey, its Barbecue, the dude needs his axe! |

I'd say the easiest way to do it would be to get some friskit, you can get it at any art, or craft store. It's a pretty small design so it does not have to be perfect. Try it out on something else a couple of times until you feel comfortable with it, then apply it to your figure. Good luck to you, and post pics when you finish it. Yo Joe!!! |
