One of those days: you’re minding your own business and getting your cosplay on, when suddenly Cobra attacks Comic-Con! Good thing Tunnel Rat had his gear and face paint stashed in his hotel room. I'm thinking Zartan and Zandar were at the Con, dressed as Data and Lore. Or Hank and Dean Venture. Or maybe it's Zandar and Zarana posing as the Wonder Twins, or all three siblings dressed as the Lannisters. Whatever the case, they wreaked havoc and Tunnel Rat saved the day before bidding a hasty retreat to the sewers. He found the Con too crowded anyway; I reckon he's a bit of an introvert. Also, I apologize for the bland, neutral pose. I've been sick, but I spontaneously decided to capture an outdoor photo of this most unlikely of kitbashes, but the sun was going down and so I raced out the door with no accessories for Tunnel Rat. Final note: I'm thinking my fat 3A robot needs a Trek shirt, too. Thoughts? |

Nice! There are a few more I'm quite eager to get.
I haven't procured his comically giant gun yet, and so all he has is his pistol...and holy crap, yeah, I apparently haven't photographed him with it yet. Weird! I'll have to fix that soon. Good timing, too, as I just received and weathered a new item of clothing for him that I want to show off. |

I recently scored another ThreeA figure: Captain America.
Naturally, my thinking is that Captain America was at the same convention Tunnel Rat attended! And Tunnel Rat left that adventure with yet another souvenir: In My Defense, When I Stole It I Thought He Was Just Some Jerk Cosplaying Captain America by Monte Williams, on Flickr Also, here at last is a shot of his pistol: You'll note the overalls, for G.I. Joe Renegades flair. |

So I really got a kick outta slapping Spock's shirt onto Tunnel Rat for some cosplay goofiness, and I was tempted to let him wear Captain America's suit as well, but the construction of Cap and his suit is such that doing so would require cutting the extended neck portion off with scissors, thereby ruining a $200 toy.
...no regrets, baby! Well, I Am From Brooklyn by Monte Williams, on Flickr Straight Outta Comic-Con by Monte Williams, on Flickr You Were Expecting Someone Else, Maybe? by Monte Williams, on Flickr |

Thank you for improving everyone's latin, very funny!
Those new settings are terrific, and I hope cosplay becomes a habit!

Thanks, Milt! Bad news for you, sir: L.E.O.N.A.R.D. is no longer a part of Geek Creek. I gave him and Joe Colton to a friend.
Indeed, not counting a few Star Trek and TMNT toys I use as classroom decorations, my toy collection is down to eleven items! Here are some clearer shots of my Renegades variant of Jenkins, aka ThreeA Tunnel Rat: High-Stakes Mission by Monte Williams, on Flickr My Toys Take Better Photos Than You by Monte Williams, on Flickr And a farewell portrait of the fatbot, hanging out behind a post office (I'm sure I'll utilize this setting again): |
