These are all really good.
My guess is the Hasbro head of the Comic Pack Hawk.

1) SCARLETT
Scarlett was my third or fourth Joe team figures, from 1983, bought around the same time as Stalker. My childhood best friend (R.I.P) had Duke and Snake Eyes—I wanted to balance that out with Stalker and Scarlett (Also, where he had Cobra Commander and Destro, I initially got Bludd and Baroness). I was a big fan of the comic—my 1st issue from the grocery mag rack being #24, but I was able to get a bunch of back issues in short time through those old Target 3-pack reprints. So given my history with the figure and character, I can’t tell you all how excited I was with the release of the original 2007 5-pack version. In years that followed, flaws became more apparent, and I learned how to make little tweaks to make the figure more fulfilling. GiJoe_O13-Scarlett-Classic25th_2017-1028b by J Perez, on Flickr Build: •Body and Belt: 25th Scarlett (1st card release) •Weapon: Crossbow (25th Scarlett); M3A1 greasegun (from BBI ?? figure) •Gun Strap: Rexlace black plastic craft lacing, sanded down and painted Paints: •Main body: Tamiya OD (XF-14) Notes: The body as produced had many problems, but it still truest to the look and feel original figure/character, and blends well in size with the other 25th builds used in this group. To minimize the haunched forward look of the unmodded figure, the head hole was redrilled closer to the front (reset with hot glue) and the ponytail, ponytail tie, and neck collar were all shaved down to allow more upward movement. Also, I found that the later cardback issued figure allowed for better backwards movement at the midtorso than the original boxed set version. The hip holes at the lower torso were shaved out to increase upper leg movement at the joint (she can now sit down). This forced as repaint of the under bodysuit. While I liked the color of the unmodded figure, I didn’t want to try to color match it for repaint, and instead found a color similar to the vintage figure. The face was repainted. I think the lack of sharp sculpting around the eyes gives the original eyes that out-of-place anime look. More eyeliner was given to the eyes (upper and lower), and lipstick was added. I wanted to add the M3A1 greasegun to the O13 group (mentioned on a few of the filecards), and wanted Scarlet to have some sort of combat rifle or gun. I also wanted more straps or webgear to adorn her bodysuit to complement the moderately geared up look of the rest of the group. GiJoe_O13-7Scarlett_2018-0421b by J Perez, on Flickr For the desert versions color schemes, I went with that of the old Toyfare 2-pack with Snake Eyes—just replacing the dark purple with Testors Panzer Schokoladenbruan (matching my desert Snake Eyes). The 25th desert’s head is a transplant from the o-ring comic pack Scarlett, to see how that worked on the newer body. This was done in the last minute, so the eyes and lips could use some work. For the comic versions, I used the 25th comic two-pack as a color basis, so the o-ring was repainted with Testors Napoleonic Violet. Not shown, I also just repainted the 25th version to match. For the 25th comic version, to avoid too much head re-use I thought adding a helmet (vintage 1982) onto the pilot Scarlett figure would add a unique look to the sets, based on comic issue #1. Not entirely visible, a ponytail was added to the o-ring classic. The ponytails were cut from 25th figures. Tiny holes were drilled to the ponytails and heads, and small thin wire (stripped twisty tie I think) was doweled and glued to the connecting pieces. Below is a better shot of the completed look: GiJoe_O13-Scarlett-BonusPic1_2018-0505b by J Perez, on Flickr Thanks for looking! Discussion/feedback/questions/requests always welcome!

Looking back through your Flickr pics, I love that you have all of the side-by-side comparisons of each character. I think this really shows how ridiculously small that 25th helmet is. The vintage ARAH helmet looks much better on the modern figures.

Looks really nice. Love your Scarlett collection. Wish I had the skill and time to update all my OG13 figures like that.

The group pics, static side-by-side, with minimal backgrounds is sort of my thing right at this time. Kinda boring and repetitive from one perspective, so it pushes me to get everything else on point. The pics also give guidance for future tweaking ideas, as I love tinkering with these figures in any way possible

It's weird--so much time has passed since this line was introduced, that I don't think it is correct to call any of these "modern" anymore. Is there better term for figures post o-ring era? |

25th Anniversary...haha. I made updates to almost all my 25th OG13, but Photobucket wiped out the pics and I'm too lazy to redo the pictures. Maybe I will redo the pics just for fun.
