Wanted to get rid of some fodder, so I decided to build something original.
Body is a Loyal Subjects He-Man with everything ground off and fur sculpted over it. Arms are Marvel Legends White Tiger and Scarlett Witch with texture sculpted over them. Hands are Loyal Subject E.Honda with fingers removed and texture sculpted. Tail is an olive spear glued on a wire twist tie, sculpted over with green stuff. The wings are from a McFarland Medusa. the head is a Marvel Legends Venom cut in half, tongue removed and a Mardi Gras bead for an eye, a sanding needle for a horn and sculpted with green stuff. Painted by hand with P3, Citadel, Bones and Vallejo acrylics, washes, and varnishes over a blue Army Painter primed base. A lot of work went into him, I appreciate you looking. Let me know what you think! |

Interesting, but when I read the name of your post I expected to find something related to the 1970's Minnesota Vikings. But your creation looks like something that could have appeared in the Sunbow cartoon. Awesome job.

It's a one-eyed, one-horned, flying purple people eater! Ingenious choice and manipulation of part, great sculpting and great paint. I don't usually have much use for monsters, but this is fantastic.

Appreciate the kind words fellas! I think the One Eyed, One Horned, Flying Purple People Eater may be a little old for some people to recognize. Lol. The twenty something's that work for me never even heard the song.

Yeah, it's weird, when I was little back in the 80's, my brother had the soundtrack. I would listen to that song on cassette when I started working out in our garage. Really bizarre choice of pump-up music, but it was mixed in with Rocky 4 LOL. I'm still amazed at what you did with that Venom head. I love how the figure looks menacing and cheeky at the same time.
