*EDIT* added new photos including detailed interior shots on page 3
Took me a while to decide to get one because I couldn't get over it being a single seater. When I finally got it, I managed to trade for a second cockpit and convert mine to a 2-seater. Basically did a lot of cutting and combining the two together to make this. The only thing is that the Ace that comes with the Skystriker won't fit because his ankle holster makes his lower leg too thick to fit into the slots for the legs. I also separated the wings from the landing gear and moved the intake fans from the engine up front where the opening at the front of the plane is. The pilots are just POC Wild Bills. The pilot has Ace's head and the RIO has Airborne's head. As you can see, they do fit in there but it's tight. If you look closely, you can see the Airborne's feet beside Ace's legs. Intake transplant Pilot Ace: RIO Airborne:

In all these pictures, the landing gear is down so you can see the wings are in or out indepent of the gear position.

I know it's been posted in other threads, but how did you manage the separation of the landing gear from the wings?
Did it take you a long time to do it and would you consider it an easy, or fairly complicated "fix"...? |
