That's cool and better than anything I could do. I have no skills. LOL! You know, the more I look at it the more I think it would be a cool vehicle to customize as a Dreadnok vehicle. The front end of it reminds me of the Thunder Machine.

Their are instances in real life, especially in third world paramilitary or rushed paint jobs, where this kind of effect can be seen. It sort of like spot welding lines though, something you don't see too often with modern technology being so readily available and relatively inexpensive.
(this is sort of a bad example because its due to age/weathering and not to the paint job.... but I couldn't find anything like I was talking about but I know I've seen a lot of it)
Though I do think if the body is painted so smooth and nice the details might look good matched. Otherwise, I little... just a little, weathering would go towards adding credibility to the paint job on the hub caps etc.
But if you're

nice job on your first custom! i like that vechicle, what line is it from?
the black does look great but the red is a little muted. i don't think that is what you your aiming for. i use fusion matte grey on practically everything i paint before i start. i have even started using it on certain figures. i nice even dusting to begin with and progressively build on layers. i also like to disassemble everything and spray each part separately.
one critique is the photo. it's clear and in focus, but it is sitting on a plastic bin lid. the vech would grab you more visually if it were presented with figures or in an environment. it looks like you put some time in it, wouldn't hurt to take a little more time to show it in action with your photography.
great idea though, keep em' coming for sure!
