Basically just somewhere to post images of things I've repainted for the most part, before and after photos if I remember to take before photos for comparisons.
My most recent was repainting the Chap Mei Animal Planet Jungle Temple which will soon find a home in my lost world photos. This thing was a lot of fun to repaint, and I like how it came out. Before/After Lady Jaye for size

I base everything with a spray paint primer, then type black wash, followed by loads and loads of dry brushing in various shades. After that I do detailing work which is often followed with a bit more dry brushing for blending. Basically the best advice I could give is to give it a go, look at real photos to get an idea of the colors you need, and buy the cheap sets at Walmart, they're typically super cheap so if you screw up, no major loss. Also, these larger pieces are the only time I'll ever say to just use the cheapo acryl paints from the store, don't waste good paints on bulk pieces, use them for detailing however.

Preciate it folks, I enjoy these kind of customs, mostly because the necessary skills are much easier to learn than the more intricate skills needed for figures.
