Zartan looks great, that is a nice blend of parts. Would not of expected beachheads torso to work so well, but it really does!
Big fan of the stinger officer as well. I enjoyed the file card.

Jason: I'm totally sold on you swamp skier. Putting it mildly, I was never a fan of the original and even less interested in the 25th remold--but with your remake, I can no longer discount this thing so easily. The working handlebars are fantastic and the reworked blueprints are on another level.
Your Zartan came out great as well--figure and photos. I've had problems with the newer hood and how it flares at the shoulders, but you seem to make it work well. I also really like the updated filecard and filecard photo. Well done on all fronts! |

As far as the Chameleon, I always like the little vehicle; but given that it is very scene specific, it's no wonder the comics and cartoon only portrayed it in one issue/episode (as far as I can remember). Interesting note, the Chameleon in the comic is based on the prototype design which is why it looks differently. https://arealamericanbook.wordpress....ans-chameleon/ Jason |

I love your Zartan and the Swamp Skier update. If I ever find one for a decent price in good condition, I might have to get one.

Thanks Jason! Hello Tankers! Your customs are Killer! Love how the Zartan turned out! You did a great job on the Stinger driver. I love seeing my casting work put to such fantastic use. Good news is I have a new mold set up to make more helmets. I plan on doing some in a semi flex material cast in black. Update Dollar General officers? I really enjoy the effort you put into the file cards on these.

Next up from the Class of 1984 is my custom Wild Weasel and Cobra Rattler!
The Cobra Rattler is made from a Bbi Elite Force A-10. I gutted all of the electronics and removed the handle from the bottom. I Dremeled a hole behind the cockpit and formed the gunner's turret using a medicine bottle. Painted the body blue and added decals from Cobra Stickers. Wild Weasel is made from a helmet & upper body from Vortious Customs and 50th Lift Ticket legs. I painted all the parts, but I knew that I did not want to tackle painting the nav charts on his legs. So I used a couple of tablet decals from Marauder Gun Runners that looked like navigational charts. Finished the figure off with a coat of Testors' Dull Coat spray. As always, comments, critiques, and suggests are greatly appreciated and encouraged! Jason |
