Nice job! Looks just like the ARAH one. I think I'll have to put this guy on my to-do list.

I love it dude.
Super trooper was givin a crappy rap. I always thought of him as like captain america on the Joe team. As a kid, I ordered 3 of these guys. Paul Latimer, Im goin from memery, but im pretty sure thats what his name was. I really liked him, and he would charge into cobra using his shield.... Ahhh...sweet joe memorys, and your custom has brought em back. Ive wanted to do one of these too. Its very true to the original. Obviously the chrome gun is missing, but so what. The armor fits nice..lil high on the waist line, but still works, after you put the belt on. I m a stickler for detail, and the only things I would add, is a neat chin strap for the helmet..mabye dremmeling out some of the thickness from the inside, on the sides, where straps would go. Also, I add gimmicks, or updtaes to my shit, but I would have found a way, to put the gun throught the shield, so he could kneel, behind, and use his weapon. If I remeber correctly the shiled DID have a little eye slit didnt it? Yep..checked your pics..it does.. Very nice custom, great parts selection...great paint apps. This is a WIN, and is suitable for front page, to break up the ROC craze.. GREAT JOB! PS...that HAS to be a WIP Toolbooth right?

thanks, man. yeah, the helmet is fairly large, even for Serpy's head, I thought about dremelling it a bit, but was worried I'd ruin the vac-metal finish, I know theres a thread somewhere, where someone was vac-metaling vipers, thought I'd try that with a 25th helmet.
still thinking of adding the arms band yet. yeah thats a Tollbooth in the background, just waiting on a couple parts to finish him up. |

didn't you also do that Star viper with that awesome gear made of rex Lace? Still one of my favs. I also like making the lesser known or more garish figs. I got some real doozies that are just waiting on parts and paint to finish, coming in the next week or so. |
