I picked up a Robot Replicas Ratchet from the transformers movie because he's scaled and designed pretty well to become a suit of space marine armor with a bit of work.
I'm figuring some Revoltech Eva hands and some sculpting for the torso (or maybe a Halo guy), and the only thing I can't figure out is the shoulder pads. He stands about 4.5" inches tall, so i guess any figures from 3 3/4" with huge pads to 6" with smaller pads would work. Hmm, that made me realize there's probably a good marvel legends figure who'd work... it's just a question of who. I'm sort of basing my design on the Starcraft marine, with the suit, shoulder pads, and bubble, but it's more inspiration than concrete design. I'm not sure if I'd rather have a bubble dome, or a helmet.
