Sometimes I get a little annoyed with endless re-issued figures.
I think we all do. So I decided to do something about an extra Iron Grenadier I had. Looking around I grabbed a bazooka that came in the 2 pk...it looked good but if I was going to make a new IG unit simply arming them with a new weapon didn't seem to be good enough. I thought about changing the red with a different color sorta like the purple that was done with the trooper from the IG Command set. I considered blue like v4 Nullifiers but I never liked that color scheme. So the next best thing was to pick a color from the existing pallet of IG colors. I considered a red fin for the helmet. Seemed silly. More red. All black. More Gold. Ultimately I went with a simple two additions of gold. The center chest plates...it looked cool on Blue Cobra Commander so why not here as well. And then a little more on the face mask. Over all its a very SIMPLE effect I did with of all things a gold metal Sharpie (and yes I went back and fixed the missing spots you see in the close up...natural light looks great for pics but exposes every flaw) but when we are done we have the very simple, easy fairly good looking and creative use of the extra Iron Grenadier. I hope you like the Iron Grenadier Anti-Armor Division. Last edited by Owner of a Lonely B.A.T.; 07-27-2019 at 09:02 PM.. |

Very nice. The Iron Grenadiers are always so over looked.
