GIJoe vs Cobra and the modern style figures that followed had lots of cool designs for the characters but few real gems of truly fresh design, on new or old updated characters. The 2003 single carded dollar store repaint of the 2002 Stalker is one of those polished gems IMO, I still think it's coolest look Stalker ever had.
Add the awesome and strangely appropriate dreadlock style hair from his Resolute design to it and it becomes what is, I think, the ultimate design for SFC Lonzo R Wilkinson. |

The dreadlocks are strands of the rope that came with Cutter and Shipwreck. I just cut it up, attached it to the back of the head (over top of the hair that was already part of the sculpt) with some epoxy, waited for it to cure, added a few more strands of hair for layering, and dabbed the very top of the whole row of "dreads" with a couple drops of super glue just to secure them to the bottom rim of the beret. I hope that explanation makes sense, kinda strange to explain in typed form. It worked out pretty well if I do say so myself. |

Sweet, JD! Nice technique on the hair. But why not use Stalker's head?
