Earl: Hello and thank you again fellow Tankers for tuning in to another showdown between Hasbro and the Customizers! Before we head down to courtside, where the score is currently Customizers 33 and Hasbro 3, here's a brief message from our sponsors...
***BBTS: "The pre-orders for the Cobra Island 7-packs will be up soon... in the VERY near future… definitely, maybe!"*** ***Hasbro: "Hey kids and collectors, the NEW 'G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra' action figures are coming! They will hit retail stores NEAR YOU on July 11th! (If you find these figures released before that date please call 1-877-Whistle-Blower)."*** ToeJam: HAH! More like 'G.I. Joe: Rise of Crap' will be hitting stores on July 11th! Earl: Now, now, now ToeJam... and we're BACK Joe fans! WHOA, did you see that entry from G.I. Eddie?! His use of Viper legs, Flint forearms and Hawk hands to bring back a vintage depiction of Wet-Suit brings a tear to my eye! ToeJam: GREAT SCOTT, how did Hasbro miss that one Earl? I mean those parts were readily available! Earl: Hahahaha (shakes head in disbelief), I have noooooooo idea ToeJam but the score speaks for itself, 34 – 3! C’mon Hasbro! ToeJam: GET ERRRR DONE! Stay tune Joe fans as we bring you more coverage! BBTS dancing around the 7 packs, inside jokes ("now now now" LMAO), Back to the Future references...ahhhahah, good times buddy, good times... |

Hey Eddie!
Great stuff, I love your "Paintless customs" I don't know about the Trigate Helmet, but Alyosha's comes with a nice head and the helmet is a hard plastic. |

thanks gt...but the question is, is it currently in stock...i'm guessing, and its a good guess, that NO would be the answer...and a 2nd question, is it available as just a helmet/head combo, or would a $70 kit need be purchased?
but no fretting folks (lol)...i have finally gotten Let-Downs helmet in the mail this moring...i will be painting it up and hopefully be getting it on W-S sometime this weekend... |

so i got the helmet painted up and added a new pic...it took so many coats to get that yellow to cover even the white primer...what a pain...
i thought about painting his yellow neck portion the teal (since i had to mix some for his mask) but really didn't want to ruine the base figure, and i think the yellow on his suit looks pretty good...the helmet fits well and looks great, doesn't sit too high and looks a million times better than the "he comes with a mask" Hasbro response... he is now one of my top 5 fave figures i have... |
