I customized Serpent O.R. from G.I. Joe vs. Transformers III series. He's part human part Tformers technology (mainly Megatron) see below... I basically sculpted over the 25th Annv. Serpentor. I used a new trick, I used small flat head screwdrivers to get the crisp edges. And then tons of sanding. The head was the hardest, but I am very pleased with the back. I used Tamiya spray paints to paint it. I'll post more pictures on my site later. From Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serpentor He is a US government built biotech android called Serpent O.R (organic robot), created using processors taken from Megatron and DNA from some of history's greatest warleaders. Serpent O.R eventually freed by a Cobra raid. While Cobra Commander plans to use the android to make him all powerful, Serpent O.R was quickly influenced by the portion of him that was Megatron and he rebelled, defeating the Cobra operatives and the combined G.I Joe/Autobots task force sent to deactivate him. Downloading information on Transformers history from Soundwave, he discovers his connection to Megatron and decided to obtain their greatest source of power he knew of - the Autobot Matrix of Leadership. Seeing himself as Megatron's son and heir, he set out on a quest to gain the Matrix for himself, believing it would grant him the power he needed to rule. WOW! That's awesome! Better than any factory figure out there. Have you ever thought of making multiple customs to sell? I would love to have this Serpentor in my collection. |

Thanks for the love!
A.V.A.C - Sculpey Pro is a harder Gray version of the regular Sculpey you can buy in any Arts and Crafts store. It is very hard and stiff. It keeps good detail and holds it's shape better. Magic Sculpt is a two part epoxy sculpting clay. You mix it, let is stand for 20 minutes and then sculpt. You have about 4 hours before it air dries. CaptainDinobot - I all about this series right now. Especially since the Masterpiece Transformers work perfect with the 25th Joes. Also the TF Alternators work but they are bit small. The second part of the cross over is not as strong as the first and third. I hear their is a fourth series that deals with Unicron and Cobra La. I still need to pick that one up. 245am - I have not seen any other TF/Joe customs out there. Most of the Joe characters are the same, only a few got makeovers. More TF got makeovers that Joes. Derrell35116 - I thought about it. But I suck at casting. I can do it but I waste a lot of material. I'll post more pictures on my site soon. |
