If you don't mind my asking, where did you get the dumpsters, barrels, and other scenery accouterments? I only recognize the crates (from PTE), not the rest of the items, and I've got a vested interest in that kind of stuff, so I'm curious from whence they came.
Figures look great, too!

Love these. I've always wanted to make myself and my shop ( we're electronics techs and electricians). What color did you use for Frank's skin tone? I typically use Vallejo flat flesh but yours looks much better. Thank you for all the cool and out of the box ideas you share with us.

Are the original Adventure People in high demand? I actually saw some of these yesterday at an antique store. If anyone is looking for them send me a PM. They had a couple that were probably medics. They had the medic symbol on their chest.

Nice work. I'd love to see good retail civilian sets like this.

I know you've probably been asked this a thousand times, and it might not even be appropriate to ask, but can you share just a couple of your secrets? Like what type of paints you use or anything about your technique? I've been getting into some customs of my own (mainly Adventure Team and Action Force) but I can't get anything to look anywhere near this professional in terms of the paint application. Especially the photos I've seen of your AT stuff...those figures look better than most of what I see at retail these days.

I started customizing around 2006 after seeing a lot of awesome customs by talented customizers online. I started with cheap acrylic paints and brushes from the dollar store and my first customs weren't the best. I almost quit a few times because I didn't feel like my customs were good enough to sit on a shelf next to production figures. I stuck with it and kept making customs and upgrading my paints and tools and experimenting with techniques until I got to a point where I'm proud to show off my custom figures. In my experience, customizing is like any skill, we get better by doing. Those are my words of wisdom for today i hope they are helpful. OB
