It was only a matter of time until someone tried this. I've had it in my mind for the longest time to make a Resistance Fighter. And today, while at work, I thought, screw that. Why not do the head honcho himself? Keep in mind this is completely unpainted, but there has been a lot of work put into him already. The part selection was the bitch of the bunch. I had to mod the Resolute Duke legs. I sculpted some of the do dads on his legs and the band on his arm (it has a reason). I dyed the web gear, which went REAL fast and took REAL well. It was originally the yellow/tan web gear. I've been reading about what head to use for him on Tri-Gate, and honestly, the Airborne head is the best I've seen. The boots and lower legs are 100% wrong. I want to use the knee pads, but don't know how to get them off of the lower legs. I'll probably use Snake Eyes lowers after I figure it out. I'm also going to use the Resolute Duke hands as they have the fingerless gloves that Connor sports. I'll be working on his rifle next, which isn't anything TOO difficult really.
Ok...no more words... Questions, comments, gripes... Dre |

Use a Bruce Wayne head and you'll nail it.

Is there one in this scale? I looked all over, but couldn't find a Bale head in 3 3/4" scale.

Amazon.com: Batman The Dark Knight Shift Attack Sports Coupe: Toys & Games The description says 4.5 inches...they are not...they are 4 inches. It went with the 4 inch Dark Knight singles that came out with the movie. Should be one on ebay somewhere. Here you go...looks like they made a two pack too. These are the same molds. http://cgi.ebay.com/BATMAN-THE-DARK-...3286.m20.l1116 |

Looking at it on eBay, the hair is too big. I know, picky detail...but still.
I'm anxious to get home and work on him some more tonight. |
