The best part of the vintage Pathfinder for me was his gear. Wasn't too happy that the club didn't give us his backpack. I modded one for my FSS Pathfinder as I didn't want to pay anymore money on Pathfinder, or else I would have just got the Raginspoon set.
Anyways, here's my Pathfinder now: I know some don't like soft goods, but this was the only way for me to get the webgear to use (yeah, I didn't like the vest the club used either). As you can see, the whole backpack assembly is all connected as one piece with the webgear. Using just his hip mounted machine guns: With his weed wacker as well (I didn't like the new club one as much as the vintage one's blades are more better defined) The guns are mounted on his webgear using Jungle Viper pegs modified

I really like this idea. Pathfinder's dual machine guns were my favorite part of the original figure.

Very nice mods.
The original Pathfinder came out after I stopped collecting ARAH and he always bothered me. An Army Pathfinder marks out DZs and LZs for airborne and air assault operations, and, part of that job might involve "weedwhacking" or cutting down trees to make an LZ if there none available. So, a little different writing on his file card could have completely made this figure a winner. Just being a jungle warfare expert didn't seem right, wouldn't the enemy hear your weedwhacker? I just accept the dual machine guns even if they are not practical either. |

Thanks! I really wish it came with the gear instead of me having to modify. I'm glad Duke's webgear's green is a perfect match to Pathfinder's green. No painting involved. Was just a lucky coincidence.

Thanks! That was the only thing I liked about the original figure that the vest came with.
