Everyone here will no doubt know my love for GI Joe, but I feel the knock offs brought a lot of interesting characters to our Joe table as well.
I had made some Corps! figures using current Joe parts and wanted to try my hands at Remco's American Defense. though I had to take some liberties with the designs, I think I managed to capture the spirit of these kooky figures. first up is Spike. kind of a metalhead street warrior I guess. this was the original figure. and here's my update i gave him a chainsaw since I think he'd probably make the best use of it. Next up is Karate Star, I think he was influenced by the film Karate Kid. Here is mine and finally, a ninja figure. now, this particular line of figures had MANY repaints. Black Belt/ Martial master was a perfect example of this. With shirt off, he's black Belt Shirt on, he's Martial Master I figured I might as well combine the 2.

Right on!! I really dig the updates. I totally forgot about these. I remember having Black Belt as a kid.
