As the classic story goes - Joe has been assigned to infiltrate Spy Island and retrieve the stolen Top Secret plans!
This is based on the classic GI Joe set with some variations. I gave him a modern SMG. Instead of being worn on the back, the radio is painted in homage of the vintage detonator. The backpack is designed to hold the loose gear he carries (dynamite, binoculars, camera). The figure is a Snake Eyes w/a 30th Air Force pilot head. All the gear is fodder, the dynamite is stripped wire. The camera was from an '80's figure (hence the glowing green color). The general and government official are from other custom figures I've made. Last edited by CiBe240; 03-19-2016 at 09:18 PM.. |

Wow. This just really works. I would not have thought of using the "action ____" head on ME figures.
Is the boat the one the comes with the BBI riverine set? |

The head took some cutting and drilling but is a vintage GI Joe resemblance. It is a bit big for the body. The raft I think also came from the 30th anniversary figure set.

This is awesome!!!! I love it! Hasbro could make a huge comeback if they started up a 3 3/4" Adeventure Team as well as classic Joe. They could remake pretty much all the sets with the current gear in their library.
